In 2021 I founded Top Form Sport with two close friends of mine, with the mission of developing innovative fitness products and sleek, functional apparel. I was the all-purpose design guy and wore as many hats as possible for our start-up. My main job was designing all of our logos, as well as doing all the art/graphics and web-design (on Shopify) for our website and merchandise, which drove over $10k in sales in our first 14 months. While this was valuable experience, my main draw to starting a business was the ability to start designing my own products and have the chance to invent something; so over the course of the 3 following years, alongside working full-time, I designed, prototyped, and patented our first product, a new take on the protein shaker called The Orbital (see images below). While developing the product we received an investment of $44,000 in exchange for a %15 stake in our company, so for a brief moment we had a market evaluation of $293.3k.

Unfortunately, after the current tariff situation and economic climate delayed our product launch for over 1 year, the company stagnated and now both my partners are no longer in a place where they want to spend their free time on our little side project, so they decided to move on, leaving the company to me. My current goal for Top Form is selling or licensing my patent while I step away and find other, more consistent, employment in my field.
