SHOE DESIGN
I have a deep passion for designing shoes, and over the past 2 years I have sketched hundreds of different concepts in my free time and over lunch breaks. My love for sports (basketball and tennis in particular), art, and technology all intersect perfectly in shoe design, giving me the opportunity to hone my sketching ability and to unleash my creative energy. Shoe’s can look like almost anything, and their design can draw on inspiration from anywhere, which gives me the ultimate freedom to create
Rendering with Vizcom:
As someone who is very against the AI take-over of the workforce, particularly in the art and design field, I was hesitant to use AI software to create design concepts or renders. But when I heard of Vizcom, I started to rethink some of my apprehension towards this new technology. While Vizcom is able to create “new” AI-generated images and concepts if you tell it to, its real value in my eyes is in taking sketches and ideas directly from the designer’s hand and helping to communicate those ideas to other people through detailed renders. A photo-real product image that might have taken me over 4 hours in Illustrator, or even longer with pen and paper, can be achieved in seconds with Vizcom. This has empowered me to take so many more of my concepts to the next level than I ever could have done on my own. I look forward to using it more and more as I progress in my design career, training it with my own images and artwork, making the AI work with me and build off of my work, rather than letting it do the work on its own.
